Investment Operations Officer

Job Accountabilities

• Support the daily operation of Investment Accounting and Administration team
• Responsible for correct and timely daily processing, posting and clearing of securities transactions, income payments and corporate actions
• Investigate the discrepancies that may exist and follow up with relevant parties
• Responsible for timely month-end operations closing activities
• Perform the periodic reconciliation of securities holdings and cash account holdings with custodian banks
• Participate in the assigned projects for process automation and continuous improvement

Job Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in banking, global custody or insurance operations is preferable
• Knowledge of traditional and non-traditional financial instruments and markets
• Knowledge of investment operations, market data, securities administration and corporate action
• Experience in supporting Unit Linked daily pricing and order placement
• User experience in SAP FSCM / Bloomberg / Reuters
• Good analytical skills and pay attention to details
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
